Eugene, Oregon, USA

mission

Dancing is better for you than sit-ups and is cheaper than both Prozac and organic produce.

Americans, despite being some of the wealthiest people in the world, are also some of the most impoverished in terms of music and dance, which, for some reason, we tend to see as an unnecessary 'frill.'

Samba Já seeks to develop fantastic drummers so as to be able to bring dance music of the African diaspora to the streets of Eugene. Through this music, we seek to actively involve our audiences in dance.
