Rehearsals for Samba Já are open to all!

You can just watch and listen, if you're feeling shy, or explore various spare instruments to see which ones you like playing best.

Some good things to bring:

Water and earplugs, especially for kids
Snare drums, Agogo bells, Shakers, or other Brazilian instruments

Tape recorders and notebooks for reference

Other good things, better left at home:

Congas, bongos, claves, doumbecks, buffalo spirit drums, prayer bowls, mridangams, electric guitars, or other instruments generally associated with other traditions.
